When it comes to e-mailed Valentines, cupid’s bow may be tipped with poison. We’ve warned you before about why it’s important to use caution when looking for love online, but it’s worth a repeat because those evil electronic cards are making the rounds again.
Herb Weisbaum’s MSNBC article, “Hackers aim to steal more than your heart,” goes in extensive detail about how these love bugs bite.
According to the report, the bogus greeting card Web site with the rows of hearts will infect your computer with the Waledac worm. The e-card with the adorable Shih Tzu puppies will also infect your computer if you click on the link.
