Curious what the transition from analog to digital TV means to you? Hear it from the experts at the Federal Communications Commission next month when they visit our state for three public workshops.

Commissioners are touring the nation to educate consumers in markets where more than 100,000 households or at least 15 percent of us rely solely on over-the-air signals for television.

  • Seattle – Oct. 20
  • Spokane – Oct. 21
  • Yakima – Oct. 22

Times and locations have yet to be announced, but will be posted on theFCC Web site with the complete tour schedule.

While in town, FCC staff will also hook up with local broadcasters and radio stations to ramp up public service announcements.

Check out our previous All Consuming blog posts on the DTV switchover: "Ready for the digital TV switchover?" and "Will you still be able to watch TV next year?" and a warning about misleading information.
