There is a virus circulating the Web right now that is targeting Facebook users. This virus is being spread through a well-disguised e-mail that appears to be a video from a friend.
The e-mail contains a link to view the video. Users who click the link are prompted to update their computers software to see the video. However, the download is a virus instead.
If you receive this email, or any other email from Facebook, you can usually verify the information by logging into your Facebook account in a different window. If your friend had sent you a video, you could most likely find it on the “home” page, in your notifications or on your friend's profile.
