OLYMPIA – Attorney General Rob McKenna issued the following statement responding to today’s federal court of appeals decision that the lawsuit concerning Yucca Mountain’s designation as a national nuclear waste disposal can move forward:

The Attorney General’s Office announced a settlement in its lawsuit against the Washington State Republican Party (WSRP) for violating thestate’s campaign finance disclosure law. 
Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna congratulated the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today for acting on the request of attorneys general from around the country to restrict some of the most dangerous alcoholic products targeted toward young adults.
