Olympia - March 6, 2000- Attorney General Christine Gregoire and the attorneys general of 49 other states, Washington, D.C. and five territories have reached a $34 million settlement with New York shoe manufacturer Nine West Inc. over allegations of price-fixing.
SEATTLE - November 30,1999 - Washington State Attorney General Christine Gregoire today filed a consent decree requiring Exxon to sell the interest Mobil owns in the Trans Alaskan Pipeline system once a merger between the two companies is approved.
Seattle - September 16,1999 - Attorney General Christine Gregoire has appointed Tina Kondo as the new chief of the Antitrust Division. The division is responsible for enforcing state and federal antitrust laws and investigating complaints about potential anti-competitive activity.
SEATTLE - May 25, 1999- Attorney General Christine Gregoire said today a settlement of an antitrust lawsuit against Toys "R" Us and two toy manufacturers will provide more than $600,000 worth of toys to needy Washington families. Toy’s R Us, the nations largest toy retailer, and the manufacturers will donate more than $33 million in toys and pay $13 million to settle lawsuits filed by Washington and other states.
SEATTLE - February 17, 1999 - An Issaquah man who falsely claimed the proceeds from the sale of discount coupon books would be used to help local troubled and homeless youth, then used the funds to support himself and his own children, has been closed down by the Attorney General's Office.
SEATTLE December 10, 1998 - Washington's settlement with one of the defendants in an antitrust suit against three national toymakers and a toy retailer will mean a happier holiday season for thousands of the less-fortunate children statewide. 
Washington, D.C. -November 16, 1998 - A historic settlement proposal, that mandates the most significant legal reform in the tobacco industry and the largest financial recovery in the nation's history, was negotiated and released today by a team of eight Attorneys General.
At this time the Washington State Attorney General's Office has declined to join the lawsuit brought by some Attorneys General against Microsoft.
SEATTLE - May, 1, 1998 --Today, the Shell Oil Company announced that it plans to sell its Anacortes refinery to the Tesoro Petroleum Corporation, which supplies gas to approximately 30 retail locations in Southwestern Washington and Oregon and owns refineries in Alaska and Hawaii.
Olympia- December 19, 1997 - The State of Washington today joined three other states and the Federal Trade Commission in signing consent decrees aimed at keeping gasoline prices competitive.
