National Consumer Protection Week is a time when government agencies, consumer protection groups, and organizations work together to share information about consumer rights and help people learn to spot, report, and avoid scams. The Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Protection Division will be hosting consumer information tables at libraries throughout Washington. Come learn about identifying scams, how to safely trade in a smartphone, and Washington’s Affordable Hospital Care law.
