(1) The phrase "his teeth" in RCW 41.26.030 (relating to members of the Washington Law Enforcement Officers and Fire Fighters Retirement System) includes not only natural teeth but also previously installed dental work such as bridges, false teeth, fillings, and the like. (2) The obligation of an employer, under RCW 41.26.150, to pay for dental repair or replacement for an individual whose previous dental work broke while eating depends on whether, under the facts of the particular case as determined by the disability board having jurisdiction, the damages were the result of an accident.
1. It is no longer mandatory for practitioners of medicine and surgery to file their registration certificates with the county clerk. 2. It is no longer mandatory for dentists to file their registration certificates in the county in which they are located with the county clerk, but they shall do so with the county auditor.
A corporation may not enter into membership agreements with individuals to render dental services to such members at specified prices, such services to be rendered by licensed dentists employed by the corporation. Dentists entering into such a contract with a corporation to render services to the members of the corporation would be in violation of the dental laws.
