The City of Seattle, the State Highway Commission, King County, the Port of Seattle, and, to a limited extent, the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle (Metro) may form a joint venture under the interlocal cooperation act (chapter 39.34 RCW) for the construction of an improved West Seattle bridge.
Under Chapter 46.44 RCW the State Highway Commission has the discretion to issue or withhold special permits for the Seattle Transit Commission to operate overwidth and overlength buses on city streets forming a part of the State Highway System.
The State Highway Commission may transfer title of the campus parkway to the City of Seattle provided it complies with statutory procedure.
The State Highway Commission may enter into limited collective bargaining agreements with a labor union concerning wages, hours, conditions of employment provided the union is authorized bargaining agent of the majority of the employees who will be affected by the agreement.
