OLYMPIA — Attorney General Bob Ferguson today filed a campaign finance lawsuit against Tim Eyman, alleging improper personal use of $308,000 in contributions made to political committees, concealment of contributions totaling $490,185 and misleading reporting. The lawsuit also accuses for-profit signature gathering firm Citizen Solutions of participating in a scheme to conceal campaign money the company funneled to Eyman.
OLYMPIA — Attorney General Bob Ferguson today announced that Mukilteo-based aerospace company Electroimpact will pay $485,000 after an investigation alleging discrimination by the company, retaliation against employees, and unfair or deceptive advertising. The company will also change its hiring practices and conduct outreach to minority applicants.
OLYMPIA —The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) announced that Representative Frank Chopp will pay $6,469.78 over campaign finance allegations brought by the office. Attorney General Bob Ferguson has recused himself from any involvement in the matter.

Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson today filed an amended Complaint in his lawsuit challenging President Trump’s travel ban as illegal and unconstitutional. Ferguson also filed a Motion to Enforce the injunction he obtained on Feb. 3, which blocked implementation of the President’s original immigration Executive Order nationwide. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously upheld that injunction on Feb. 9.
SEATTLE — In documents filed in federal court Thursday, Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson contends that the injunction he obtained blocking key sections of President Trump’s previous immigration Executive Order applies to the new version.
The Attorney General’s Office has filed a petition in Thurston County Superior Court seeking to civilly commit an Olympia-area sex offender and prevent his release into the community.

The annual campaign, celebrating 19 years, educates the public about their consumer rights and gives them access to free consumer-related resources to help them use their money wisely.
