Attorney General also to announce consumer protection, open records bills
OLYMPIA – Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna will be joined by a bipartisan coalition of legislators on Monday as he rolls out his agenda for the 2010 legislative session.
AG McKenna will renew his call for stronger protections from the worst domestic abusers and criminals who exploit children or seniors. He will also announce bills to protect homeowners facing foreclosure from scams, an update to the state’s Lemon Law, and a new agency to enforce open records laws.
