Other LanguagesTACOMA - Tacoma Division Chief Gretchen Leanderson announced yesterday that Lynette Weatherby-Teague has been chosen as the new LNI Section Chief for Tacoma.
Lynette graduated from Gonzaga University Law School in 1984 and began her years at the Attorney General's Office in Lacey in 1987.
“I was fortunate to work with her in the Social and Health Services Division in Lacey until her transfer to Tacoma in 1989,” Leanderson said. “Lynette brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new position in the areas of Labor and Industries, Licensing and Employment Security.
“She has held various positions of responsibility in the office and in the Tacoma community that have required decisiveness, collaboration and service to the citizens of the state,” she said. “Lynette accomplishes all her tasks in a professional manner exhibiting the highest standards of excellence, ethics and effectiveness. She will be a welcome addition to the Tacoma core management team.”
