Attorney General McKenna to speak at Slade Gorton Lecture Series

OLYMPIA…Attorney General Rob McKenna will speak at the Discovery Institute’s lecture series for interns and young professionals on Tuesday, August 7.  The Slade Gorton Lecture Series is named for the former U.S. Senator and introduces young people to the nature and ideals of public service. Attorney General McKenna will speak about law and public policy.

“This is a great opportunity to examine current political issues,” Attorney General McKenna said. “I am honored to be a part of this prestigious event.”

The lecture is open to the public and is targeted at those having an interest in public policy and are in the early states of their professional careers.

This is the third annual summer lecture series the Discovery Institute has presented.  This event will be held on Tuesday, August 7, from 4:30pm-6pm at Discovery Institute, located in the Melbourne Tower at the corner of Third Avenue and Pike Street in downtown Seattle.
