SEATTLE — Attorney General Bob Ferguson today filed a motion asking the full Ninth Circuit to reconsider the decision of a three-judge panel allowing the Trump Administration’s harmful Title X gag rule to go into effect while the legal case progresses.
“Allowing this unlawful rule to go into effect will jeopardize access to health care for tens of thousands of Washington women who rely on the Title X program,” Ferguson said. “I’m asking the Ninth Circuit to come together and block President Trump’s gag rule while our challenge continues.”
The petition for en banc review is available here.
The panel’s decision is not a decision on whether or not President Trump’s gag rule is lawful, or a final decision on the federal government’s appeal of the preliminary injunction.
More information on the case is available here.
