EMPLOYMENT SECURITY ACT ‑- CLAIMS FOR UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION ‑- UNEMPLOYMENT ‑- SELF-EMPLOYMENT One who is self-employed is not unemployed within the meaning of the Employment Security Act. Whether or not a particular claimant is self-employed and by reason thereof, ineligible for benefits under this act, depends upon the facts and circumstances of the individual case.
